Meta charges businesses based on the conversations not on the per message. For Pricing depends on the following variables such as;

• Conversation Type

• Conversation Category

• Receiver's Country

A conversation is chat between business and customer within 24 hours of window

Types of Conversation

Business Initiated Conversation - where business sends 1st message to customer.

Customer Initiated Conversation - where customer sends 1st message to business.

Conversation Category

Conversation Falls under 4 categories are which are as below;

• Marketing: When you send messages about promos, updates, or invites.

• Utility: These help with specific requests, like confirming transactions.

• Authentication: Used to verify users, like one-time passcodes during login.

• Service: To help you solve customer questions.

Conversation Duration

Most conversations last 24 hours. If a new conversation starts, it resets the timer. But free-entry point conversations have a 72-hour timer.
